Sometimes all a community member needs is help with a bill or unexpected expense to get out of a tough situation and back on their feet. We offer safety net services for all low-income residents and those experiencing abrupt difficulties in West Marin. Assistance is fast, confidential, and available for all low-income residents and/or those experiencing temporary hardships. Read below to find out the ways we support community members through financial assistance.

• Point Reyes Station
• Inverness
• Nicasio
• Olema
• San Geronimo Valley (Lagunitas, Forest Knolls, Woodacre, etc)
• Bolinas
• Stinson Beach
• Muir Beach

Support Services

We offer a range of services that change depending on the natural ebb and flow of resources and community needs.

Our services typically include:

• Energy assistance
• Small car and home repairs
• Medical costs
• Distribution of funds
• Clothing and household item vouchers at our Thrift Store
• Other miscellaneous hardships

Family Fund

The community of West Marin often finds itself coming together to help neighboring families in need. To aid in these swells of interest to help, WMCS created a tool for donors who want to make tax deductible contributions to local families in crisis. 100% of funding goes directly to specified families.

Fiscal Sponsorship

West Marin is comprised of people who often want to create community through programs and events. We will sponsor these through our nonprofit tax identification, encouraging donors to contribute to beloved community programs such as Day of the Dead.
