West Marin Community Services is the safety-net for residents who are the most vulnerable to our unpredictable world. It was created in early 2000 as the nonprofit umbrella organization for the West Marin Community Resource Center and the West Marin Community Thrift Store. These programs have faithfully served the community for over 30 years, supporting low-income residents of West Marin by providing emergency services that include food distribution, energy assistance, housing assistance, medical and dental assistance, care-giving assistance for the elderly, scholarships for preschools and childcare, and other critical needs. We offer compassion while supporting pride, helping residents while encouraging and nurturing independence.

We provide many services, and are committed to supporting the future health and welfare of the West Marin community. West Marin Community Services is funded through individual donations, foundation and corporate grants, and fundraising events.
